Municipality urges youth to follow physical distancing requirements
We all have a role to play in keeping our communities safe from the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Youth are not immune to this disease and can be unsuspecting transmitters when not following physical distancing requirements.
Now is not the time to visit with friends. Yes, this sucks. But you have to do your part, too, to keep everyone around you safe.
The better we all do in complying with physical distancing the shorter this period of physical isolation will be.
Everyone must stay up to date on the COVID-19 situation in our region by following the information and guidance of Huron Perth Public Health at hpph.ca Their Health Line intake phone line (1-888-221-2133) is open Monday to Friday, 9AM-8PM and Saturday and Sunday, 9AM-4PM.
We all must do our part to prevent the spread of infection:
· Stay at home
· Self-isolate when you are unwell or returning from travels for at least 14 days—this is now law!
· When you go out for essentials, maintain a physical distance of 2m between others
· Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently
· Parents, make sure kids are following your lead - no play dates!
