Reopening Phases

Feedback

Guided by the Province of Ontario’s Reopening Framework, our top priority is protecting the health and safety of staff and residents. Final decisions about when to open specific facilities and restart individual services are made based on the following guiding principles:

  • Protection of public health
  • Service to the community
  • Maintenance of facilities and assets
  • Community priorities
  • Economic recovery
  • Health, well-being and productivity
  • Legal or regulatory requirements
  • Resource availability

Ensuring a Safe Environment

In order to ensure a safe environment for both staff and residents, measures will be implemented throughout each reopening phase. These measures include:

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Physical Distancing
  • Health Screening
  • Cleaning
  • Stop the Spread
  • Communication

safe work environments during COVID-19 include PPE, physical distancing and frequent cleaning of hands and surfaces
