2022 Leaf Collection Extended

Leaf collection continues in South Huron due to high numbers of bags are at curbside

The Municipality of South Huron is continuing to collect yard waste materials at the curbside until November 25, 2022. We want to thank residents for their patience.

The warm weather in late October has caused more leaves to be bagged later in the season than in previous years. The increased number of bags placed at the curbside has created a higher peak of materials this month and requires additional time to collect safely at this time of year.

Yard waste can also be dropped off at the South Huron Landfill located at 71230 Ausable Line, free of charge to South Huron residents. The South Huron Landfill is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Landfill is Open Monday – Tuesday and Thursday – Saturday from 9 am – 4 pm.
