The deadline to apply to the Sunset Community Foundation (formerly known as the Grand Bend Community Foundation) for the 2022 South Huron Vitality grant is April 1, 2022. Information about how to apply is available on the Foundation’s website at https://sunsetcommunityfoundation.ca.

BACKGROUND
In 2020 South Huron Council entered into an agreement with the Sunset Community Foundation (The Foundation) to create the Vitality Fund as part of the South Huron Community Fund. The purpose of the Vitality Fund is to offer financial assistance to non-profit, community-based organizations that provide direct programs, services, or activities to enhance the quality of life for South Huron residents. The Vitality Fund replaces the Community Grant Program previously offered by the Municipality of South Huron.
In previous years, South Huron Vitality Fund grants have supported organization's such as Big Brothers Big Sisters South Huron, the Huron Waves Music Festival, Noah’s Ark, Winterfest, and Friends of Pinery Park.
