bids&tenders is coming to South Huron

Starting August 14, 2018, the Municipality of South Huron is transitioning to bids&tenders™as our new eProcurement platform.

  • Bid documents posted before August 14, 2018 will continue to be available on Biddingo.
  • Bid documents issued on or after August 14, 2018 will be posted on bids&tenders™ for viewing and downloading.
  • Submission of bids will continue to be in-person and by mail courier. The electronic submission of bids will be introduced in the latter part of 2019.

What is bids&tenders™?

This is a user-friendly e-bidding platform that makes it easy for you to review, register, and submit bids anytime and from anywhere.

What does this mean for you?

You will need to subscribe to bids&tenders™ to continue receiving notifications about and submitting bids.

How much does it cost?

An unlimited annual subscription is $165 per year. This means that you can bid as many times as you like with all of the organizations posting their bid opportunities on bids&tenders™. A one-time, pay-per-bid option is also available at $45/bid.

Prospective users can check out all open bids in the system before subscribing.

What do you get?

With bids&tenders™ users get access to a number of bidding tools, including:

  • A secure, custom dashboard – just for you.
  • Category selection - so you only see the bids that are relevant to you.
  • Automated email notifications for new bid opportunities and addenda – so you never miss another bid.
  • Automated confirmation when your bid has been submitted, received, or withdrawn.
