Mayor Finch to engage youth during Local Government Week

The Municipality of South Huron is participating in Local Government Week from October 15 to 21, 2019. The objective of this campaign is to help youth and students gain an understanding of municipal government and its impact on everyday lives. It is also intended to engage youth in conversations about citizenship in our local community.

Mayor George Finch will be visiting schools that have shown interest in the program to educate Grade 5 Social Studies and Grade 10 Civics students on the importance of municipal government.
