Back to SearchTake Notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of South Huron intends to dispose of lands described as PT Ann St, PL222 Stephen designated as PT 1, Plan 22R1695; Municipality of South Huron and convey said lands to Shirley Rumball.
The subject lands are being conveyed in consideration of the payment of two dollars ($2.00) from the Municipality of South Huron to Shirley Rumball and this transaction is subject to Rumball paying all associated costs to the municipality relative to this transaction.
A Reference Plan of the subject lands is available by contacting the Clerk’s Office. Council will consider a By-Law at their March 21, 2022 meeting to:
a) stop up and close the unused portion of Ann Street; and
b) declare the lands surplus; and
c) exercise their authority, being a direct request from an abutting property owner to purchase an unopened road allowance.
The Public meeting will be held on Monday March 21, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 322 Main Street East, Exeter, Ontario and live-streamed from the Agendas and Minutes page of the municipal website: www.southhuron.ca.
Anyone wishing to submit correspondence or appear before Council to speak to this matter March 21, 2022 meeting may advise the Clerk in writing no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday March 17, 2022.
