Notice of Public Meeting - 2019 Water and Wastewater Rate Study

The Municipality of South Huron retained the services of Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. to review the financial status of the water and wastewater systems and the long term sustainability of the current fees and charges. Based on the recommendations in their report, the Municipality intends to pass a by-law to amend the current water and wastewater fees and charges to provide sufficient revenues to meet the needs of the water and wastewater systems.  

To inform the public of the proposed rates and to provide the rate study background information, please be notified that a public meeting will be held on:

Time:           7:00pm to 8:00pm

Location:     Crediton Community Center, 38 Victoria Avenue East, Crediton

The public meeting will include a presentation by Watson & Associates and includes an opportunity to ask questions and provide your input. A copy of the draft 2019 report will available on the municipal Web Site and at the Municipal Office in Exeter, prior to the public meeting.
