Notice of Public Meeting – Building Permit Fees

Pursuant To Section 7 of The Building Code Act

Take Notice that South Huron Council will hold a Public Meeting in order to consider amendments
to South Huron Fees and Charges By-law 34-2015 at its Council meeting on February 18, 2020 at
6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers – Olde Town Hall.

Purpose And Effect – The Municipality of South Huron is proposing to repeal its Building Bylaw
#35-2008 and amend By-Law 34-2015 by adding additional fees associated with plumbing
inspection and permits.

Any persons may attend the public meeting and/ or make written or verbal representation either in
support of or in opposition to the amendments.

The public is invited to review and comment on the proposed changes at www.southhuron.ca or
at the municipal office. Additional information will be made available at no cost to any member of
the public upon request, on the municipal website and in alternative formats.
