Back to SearchTake Notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of South Huron intends to pass a by-law at the January 17, 2022 Regular Council meeting to name four streets located within Buckingham Estates (municipally known as 70 Church Street). The street names selected are: Greene Street, Triebner Street, Strang Street. Church Street will also be extended into the subdivision.
This Notice is given in accordance with the Municipality of South Huron Public Notice By-Law 20-2003 by the Municipal Clerk.
On December 6, 2021, Council received report PL#05-2021 from the Planning Coordinator and Council approved the road names for Buckingham Estates. A By-law will be brought back to Council on January 17th, 2022, for consideration and a copy of the by-law and supporting documents are available by contacting the Clerk.
Anyone wishing to submit correspondence or appear before Council to speak to this matter at the January 17, 2022 meeting may advise the Clerk in writing no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday January 10, 2022. Council may opt to alter the recommended names, otherwise the roads will be formally and permanently named by adopting the By-Law at that meeting.
