Back to SearchHuron County has contracted work on Hern Line (Road 11), which will be closed for construction to install new culverts. It will be closed in 3 stages:
Stage 1) Hern Line from 19th line to Thames Road (Hwy 83) will be closed October 16th until October 26th
Stage 2) Hern Line from Thames Road (Hwy 83) to Kirkton Road will be closed October October 26th until November 16th
Stage 3) Hern Line from Kirkton Road to Whalen Line will be closed November 16th until November 30th.
A signed detour will be posted. Side streets will be available as alternate routes for local traffic. The roadway will not be passable to emergency vehicles at the culvert replacement locations during construction.
