South Huron recognizes the life and service of former Lieutenant Governor David C. Onley

The Municipality of South Huron wishes to recognize the contributions and service of The Honourable David C. Onley, who passed away on January 14, 2023. Onley served as the 28^th Lieutenant Governor General of Ontario from 2007 to 2014 and is widely regarded as a champion of accessibility and equality in the Province of Ontario.

In accordance with the South Huron flag policy, municipal flags at Town Hall will fly at half-mast on the day of his state funeral, which is yet to be announced.
