South Huron to survey residents about new community hub / rec centre

Feedback

The Municipality of South Huron is considering the development of a new community hub recreation centre. As part of the planning process the Municipality has engaged LeisurePlan International Inc. to undertake a study to determine the potential market and demand for programs, activities and services that may be provided at the facility.

This study will involve a telephone survey focused on adult residents of South Huron to get their opinions about recreation, fitness, health and aquatic services. The telephone survey will be conducted over the next few weeks.

The telephone survey will randomly select adult residents to participate - each person is equally likely to be contacted – to achieve a representative sample of people between the ages of 20 and 64 years of age.

Adult residents will be interviewed over the telephone about their present and future participation in recreation, fitness, health and aquatic programs and activities. Each interview will take approximately ten minutes to complete.

If you are one of the randomly selected adult residents contacted to participate in the survey, please take the time to respond! These responses are vital in planning the proposed new community hub recreation centre. All responses will be kept strictly confidential.
