During the postal service disruption, utility bills will continue to be issued and the payment due dates will remain unchanged. For those who receive their bills by mail, it is recommended to sign up for paperless billing to ensure you do not miss a payment deadline.
eBilling
To register for paperless billing, account holders can use our online Property Tax and Utility eBilling sign up forms. By signing up for eBilling, you will receive your property tax and utility bill in a PDF format to the email address of your choice in advance of the due date.
Other Contingency Options to Receive Utility Bill Amounts
Residents and businesses may also choose from these additional contingency options to receive your utility bill details:
- Collect your paper bill in person at the Municipal Office after Thanksgiving weekend
- Call the Municipal Office to request your owed amount over the phone (519-235-0310 ex.233)
Payment Methods
We strongly discourage making payments through postal services during the Canada Post strike, as mailed payments may not be received by the Municipality before the due date and you may face late charges.
There are several contingency options available for residents and businesses to ensure their payments are made:
- Payments by Credit Card(online)
- Internet or Telephone Banking
- In Person
- Automated Banking Machines
- Pre-Authorized Payment Plan
