Sometimes, due to factors beyond our control or for reasons relating to continuous improvement, delivery of municipal services may be impacted. Any service disruptions will be reported on this page.

South Huron Rec door/accessible parking service disruption

South Huron Recreation Centre

Early in the week of Aug 24, the front doors of SHRC on the west side of the building will be temporarily unavailable due to concrete work by our contractor. Accessible parking on the west side of the building may also be affected.

Visitors are advised to use the eastside doors.

Facility Closure

Elliott Park and the Elliott Park Dumping Station

Elliott Park and the Elliott Park dumping station will not be available in 2026. The section of William Street where the dumping station is located is needed to support reconstruction work along Main Street. Thank you for your patience.
