Connecting Links Funding
Yesterday afternoon, Minister of Rural Affairs Lisa Thompson was joined by Mayor Finch, councillors Vaughan and McLeod-Haggitt as well as municipal staff for a funding announcement.
The Municipality of South Huron will receive $2,765,109 through the Connecting Links program to go towards the reconstruction of Main Street South from Victoria Street to Sanders Street.
A Connecting Link is a designated municipal road or bridge that connects two ends of a provincial highway through a community or to an international border crossing.
This project will continue the work to replace aging infrastructure in our community, helping to maintain road, water and wastewater services for generations to come.
Thank you Province of Ontario!
