December 15 Council Meeting Highlights

At its Regular Meeting on December 15, 2025, South Huron Council:

·         Received delegations

o   Requesting February be proclaimed as Preventive Health Awareness Month, as presented by Stephanie Vandenbussche

o   Regarding repealing Heritage Designation By-law for 12 Victoria Ave East, Crediton, as presented to Grant Clifford

·         Received staff reports/memos on topics including:

o   South Huron Zoning By-law – Five Year Review Implementation

§  staff will proceed with preparing draft text and mapping updates, schedule public consultations and circulate the amendment for public review under the Planning Act

o   HR Annual Update

o   Property Tax Exemptions Follow Up (Drayton Entertainment Correspondence)

o   Repeal of Designating By-Law - Owner's Initiative - 12 Victoria Avenue East, Crediton – this report and discussion was deferred to the February 2, 2026 Council Meeting

o   Annual Accessibility Update
