Victoria St E Reconstruction Project-Weekly Update May 9, 2025

Construction started this week with installation of traffic control signage and pulverizing asphalt from Main Street to the pillars east of Andrew Street. The contactor also started the installation of the temporary watermain.

 Next week the contractor will complete the installation of the temporary watermain and switch customers over to the temporary watermain. The contractor is also scheduled to commence storm and sanitary sewer work in the Main and Victoria Street intersection on Monday May 12^th. This will be disruptive…….please expect traffic delays during this work.

 Victoria Street is closed to through traffic from Main Street to the pillars east of Andrew Street. Access to facilities east of the pillars will be maintained through the South Huron Recreation Centre property.
