Main Street South Reconstruction Project-Weekly Update July 24, 2026

This week the contractor completed the base asphalt on the west side of Main Street. Next week the contractor will complete driveway ramps, raise manhole covers, and prepare the west side of road for the traffic switched over. Mid-week, one lane of traffic in both directions will be switched onto the new asphalt on the west side of Main Street and work will commence on the east side of Main Street.

 Businesses remain open during construction; access to homes and businesses will be reasonably maintained throughout construction. With traffic disrupted and detours in place, please expect delays and plan accordingly.
