Victoria St E Reconstruction Project-Weekly Update May 23, 2025

Construction continued this week with installation of the sanitary sewer between Main and Andrew Street. Temporary watermain was commissioned and is now in service, with customers switched over to the temporary watermain. The new watermain connection in the Main Street intersection has also been completed.

 Next week the contractor will complete the installation of the sanitary services between Main and Andrew Street and continue to install storm sewers.  

 Victoria Street is closed to through traffic from Main Street to the pillars east of Andrew Street. Access to facilities east of the pillars will be maintained through the South Huron Recreation Centre property.
