2026 Fall Leaf/Brush Collection
October 19 - November 12, 2026
The Municipality of South Huron will be starting fall leaf bag collection on Monday, October 19, 2026, until Thursday, November 12, 2026, for all South Huron residents.
Please ensure that bags weigh no more than 23kg (50lbs). Please note that staff will not pick up overweight bags, bags that are not biodegradable paper bags, or bags that contain other waste such as garbage or animal feces.
There will be two pickup areas and each will have dedicated pickup days every week:
• Exeter
Pickup will be on Mondays
One day brush pickup-October 26
• Villages (Dashwood, Oakwood, Shipka, Crediton, Huron Park, Centralia)
Pickup will be on Thursdays
One day Brush pickup-October 29
As a reminder, once the collection period has ended, staff will no longer collect any items that are set curbside. You may take your leaf and debris to the South Huron Landfill free of charge at any time.
