Victoria St E Reconstruction Project-Weekly Update June 20, 2025

The Contractor has completed all underground infrastructure between Main Street and the pillars. Granular road base continues east of Andrew Street and watermain commissioning is underway.

Next week the Contractor expects to complete the granular road base and start the installation of concrete curbs between Main Street and the pillars. Pulverizing asphalt east of the pillars is scheduled to commence on June 27^th after the end of the school year.

 Victoria Street remains closed to through traffic from Main Street to the pillars east of Andrew Street. Access to the Relouw Early Childhood Learning Centre will be maintained through the South Huron Recreation Centre property. After work commences east of the pillars, access to the Exeter Public School and recreation facilities at the east end of Victoria Street will have limited access.
