Planning for a Canada Post mail service disruption beginning on Friday May 23, 2025

A Canada Post service disruption is expected to begin Friday, May 23.
We encourage our utility customers to sign up for e-billing and to explore our alternative payment options like online banking, pre-authorized payments, in-person payments, etc.
Customers are responsible for paying bills on time and late charges will apply if payments are not received on time.
Please contact us if you require assistance with municipal services at 519-235-0310.

Utility Billing - Exeter utility bills for the period January 1 - March 31 are due the last day of May and were mailed out early this quarter to avoid a mail service disruption. Customers can call us to confirm their account balance at 519-235-0310.

Payment Options – Most financial institutions will accept payments online, through telephone banking or at local branches. Payments can also be made in person, via debit, cheque or cash, at Town Hall between 8:30am and 4:30pm. Outside of regular business hours, cheques and remittance stubs, in a sealed envelope, can be placed in the after hours drop box to the left of the main entrance of Town Hall, 322 Main St S. Please ensure that you write your utility account number on the cheque memo line if no remittance stub is available.

The second 2025 interim property tax bill installment is due June 15. Property owners would have received these bill amounts in February/March along with the first installment amount. Property owners can call us to confirm their account balance at 519-235-0310.

Please use one of our alternate payment options (online, in person, at bank) to pay property taxes.
