Project Update - Exeter Main Street South - April 7 2026

The Municipality of South Huron is reconstructing Main Street South from the Ausable River to Victoria Street in 2026. At the start of this project, a full road closure of Main Street at the Ausable River is required for one week in mid-April to complete sewer work - when exact dates of this closure are known they will be posted to South Huron's social media and to the Exeter Main Street South project page.

During the full road closure, traffic will be detoured out Huron Street and Thames Road to Morrison Line and Airport Line. Trucks will be detoured around Exeter via Thames Road and Kirkton Road to Morrison Line for the remainder of the year.
