South Huron Reports Multiple Road Construction Projects Starting in June, 2025

Please note that emergency services have been advised of the following road work.

Exeter Main Street North

Beginning soon, the municipality's contractor will be raising manholes and preparing for the top coat of asphalt along Main Street North in Exeter. During this time, traffic control will be in place, and there may be potential delays. The application of the top coat of asphalt is scheduled to begin on June 22 and will take place overnight, starting at 8 PM. Work is expected to be completed by June 24, weather permitting. 

Morrison Line Dam Repairs

Morrison Line, between Highway 83 and Huron Street, will be closed starting June 23 for the duration of the project, with an anticipated reopening in October, 2025. During this closure, the parking lot for the ABCA office and the trail parking lot across from the ABCA office will be accessible from Highway 83. Access to Ironwood Golf Course and the ABCA south parking lot will be available from Huron Street. 

Corbett Line Resurfacing

Resurfacing of Corbett Line between Crediton and Mount Carmel is set to begin on June 18, weather permitting. Access will still be available during the project.
