Reduced Load Limits

The reduced load limit period in the Municipality of South Huron typically runs from March 1 to April 30 of any given year. The reduced load limit period may change from year to year depending on weather and road conditions. Roads are most vulnerable to heavy vehicle damage in the early spring when frost is leaving the ground and load restrictions help to minimize the damage.

With the exception of Main Street, Exeter from the North limit of the Connecting Link (Walper Street) and the South limit of the Connecting Link (Huron Motor Products), all roads in South Huron are subject to restrictions during the reduced load limit period.
