About

Port Blake Day Park

  • Port Blake Beach and Day Park is located at 71111 Bluewater Highway (Hwy 21) in Grand Bend
  • The park is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM from May 15, 2026 to October 12, 2026.
  • $30.00 per vehicle, flat daily rate payable by debit card only (no cash or credit cards accepted).
  • South Huron residents can park for free by registering their vehicle(s) for a Port Blake Resident’s Pass. Beginning in 2026, passes will be valid for 3 years. 2025 passes, will not be accepted and residents must reapply. 

  • Washrooms, picnic tables, pavilion and garbage receptables are located within the park
  • You may park only in designated areas
  • No buses or recreational vehicles (RV’s) over 28 feet are permitted
  • Visitors may bring barbeques
  • No unruly behaviour or loud music
  • No fireworks
  • No glass containers
  • Please place garbage in provided containers

  • South Huron residents can enter the park for free by registering their vehicle(s) for a Port Blake Resident’s Pass. Beginning in 2026, passes will be valid for 3 years. 2025 passes will not be accepted and residents must reapply using our online form.

  • Registration for the Port Blake Parking Resident’s Passes will open on April 1, 2026. Registration must be completed using the online form. Please allow up to five business days for registration confirmation. The following documents are required: 

    • Proof of residency; must include owner’s name and a Municipality of South Huron address (examples: driver's licence, utility bill from within the last 60 days or property tax bill from current year).

    • Residents may register multiple vehicles provided the ownership is registered to their address. If required, additional information may be requested (i.e., green vehicle ownership document).

Elliott Park

  • Located at 12 Church Street, on the west side of Main Street Exeter along the Ausable River
  • Elliott Park operates annually from the Friday of Victoria Day long weekend to Thanksgiving Monday, weather permitting.
  • It is important to review the Elliott Park Policy By-law for full details on permitted uses of the park, prior to arrival.  
  • Eight (8) campsites available on a first come, first serve basis (no reservations). Maximum of three (3) consecutive nights, no more than twice per month.
  • Potable water and dumping station available.

MacNaughton-Morrison Trail - access within MacNaughton Park

The MacNaughton-Morrison Trail links with the Morrison Dam Conservation Area to create the 8-kilometre South Huron Trail. The trail is supported by many local groups and the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation.
