The South Huron Recreation Centre features a full size arena pad, hall and kitchen. The centre offers a diverse array of programs for all age groups and is suitable for a variety of multi-purpose activities.

The Municipality owns and operates several outdoor baseball diamonds.

Tennis and Pickleball Courts are located at the end of Victoria St E in Exeter between Exeter Elementary School and the South Huron High School soccer field.  

The courts have two playing areas:

• Court A (West)
• Court B (East)

How to Book

• To view court availability and to book a court please visit our public access link at Municipality of South Huron - Public Access (bookking.ca)
• Once you have completed your booking, instructions on how to access the courts will be emailed to you. 

Court Rules

• Children under 10 years old must be supervised by a guardian over 16 years of age
• Please pick up all trash and discard in the nearest bin before leaving
• If conditions render the court unsafe, play must stop immediately. All courts must be vacated if lightening, thunder, or any other element is present which threatens the safety of the participants and or the spectators
• The Municipality of South Huron assumes no liability for accidents and or injuries and assumes no liability for the loss of or damage to player property

Not Permitted

• Black sole, cleated or ribbed shoes
• Fireworks or open flames, including barbeques
• Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades or scooters
• No hockey or any form of play allowed except for tennis and pickleball
• Alcoholic or glass beverages
• Smoke free; the use of tobacco, vaping or marijuana products is prohibited
• No person shall use profanity, threaten, or intimidate another person in a physical or verbal manner

The Municipality operates several outdoor Soccer Fields 

• Community Soccer Field, Exeter 
• Wagner Soccer Fields (6x), Exeter
• Crediton Sportsplex, Crediton 

• Newly renovated outdoor facility (2018).
• This pool offers rentals up to 175 patrons.
• Open in July and August 
• There are 6 lanes and a diving platform in the deep end.
• An accessible ramp is located in the shallow end for easy access to the pool (Wheelchair available for rent)
• Patrons have access to change rooms and bathrooms. 
• Splash Pad and Playground nearby

Kirkton's outdoor swimming pool operates from late June until the end of the summer.  The pool offers day and evening swimming lessons, public swims, adult and lane swims, aquafit, birthday parties, pool rentals and it has a swim team.
