Honorary Veteran Street Signs

Interactive Mapping Project

Our community is proud to honour the local veterans whose service, sacrifice, and dedication helped protect the freedoms we enjoy today. While their contributions are woven into the history of our nation, they are also reflected throughout our community.
Over recent years, South Huron has committed to encouraging street naming practices that honour and promote local heritage and recognition of local war veterans. Many of our streets bear the names of local men and women who served, creating everyday reminders of their courage and commitment.

This interactive map highlights those streets and shares the stories behind the names, helping residents and visitors alike discover and remember the veterans whose legacy continues to shape our community.
