Corporate Flag Policy |
South Huron Council approved a Corporate Flag Policy at the April 4, 2022 Council meeting to establish requirements and guidelines for the flying of flags at municipally owned facilities. This policy applies to all flags flown on municipal properties and all requests for flag flying in South Huron, with the exception of Fire Services as administered by the Fire Chief.
Location of Flags on Municipal PropertyThe flag poles located on municipal lands that regularly display the Canadian Flag are as follows: Town Hall - in Council Chambers and outside of the front door, Main Street Parkette, Island (Main Street Bridge), Exeter Pool, Exeter Public Cemetery, Kirkton-Woodham Community Centre, Crediton Hall, Dashwood Hall, Centralia Park, Port Blake, Exeter Fire Hall, Dashwood Fire Hall. Community groups and organizations located within the Municipality of South Huron who wish to have the flag lowered are required to submit a request in writing to the CAO using the request form.
