Notice of Election – October 26, 2026

Municipal Elections Act, 1996 (s.40)

Electors in the Municipality of South Huron will be voting by internet and/or telephone, in the 2026 Municipal Election. A Voter Information Letter will be mailed to you directly in the month of October, providing you with a Personal Identification Number (PIN). This will allow you to vote any time starting at 9:00 a.m. on October 13 until 8:00 p.m. on October 26, from any telephone or any device connected to the internet.

Notice is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Municipality of South Huron

That during the period commencing on May 1, 2026 and completed on Nomination Day, August 21, 2026, the following persons filed all necessary papers, declarations and fees and as Clerk, I am satisfied that such persons are qualified and that their Nominations satisfy the requirements of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

Attended by over 2,500 municipal, provincial and federal leaders, the 4-day conference is an opportunity to discuss local governance and address priority policy issues facing Ontario municipalities.
